Our Pastor told us tonight about an option that homeschoolers are able to have...
http://homeschoollegaladvantage.com This is through the CLA. This is something that us homeschoolers need to look into. It is 79.00$ the first year and then after that 69.00$. If you are in a ministry or in the Army it is 59.00$.
If you have any legal issues they will provide an attorney and will pay for it all. If there is any homeschooling issues going on, they will warn you. They also have a newsletter that you can sign up for. This is something for us homeschooling families to be able to fall back on if we need any help in the future. Please at least check into this, I believe that this is something that we may need probably in the near future.

Thank you for following. I believe you are right. I have homeschooled for 18 years and our Dad is a Public School Administrator. A long story ~simply a God thing. We are heading into times where a being a Christian is no longer politically acceptable~we best be on our knees ~dear friend.
But greater in He that is in me than he that is in the world. Our God is bigger than any government!
I read the back of the book and we win!
You have a wonderful Lord's Day~I am praising God for all the wonderful freedoms we do have! We are blessed!

Jamie,
Just came across your blog. Thanks for the link. We homeschool, but this is our first year that we have to report to the state, so this will come in handy..boy I hope I never need them for legal issues myself.

In response to the stove issue. I agree it can be a daunting stove top when it gets dirty or a boil over bakes on to it.
Normally I just use an all purpose counter cleaner to wipe it down with daily. But for harder, cooked on spills I use a light dusting of ajax or comet powder and then scrub it away. Contrary to popular theory if you don't use a ton of the powder it wont scratch the surface. You can also use a bit of baking soda in place of the ajax if you don't have any. I have done that in a pinch and it worked well.
Once you rinse the cleaner away I re-wipe it down with my all purpose spray cleaner. I hope this helps.
Oh yea, I have also tried the homemade powdered dishwasher detergent on my blog in lieu of the baking soda or ajax and t worked as well.
