Something So Small But So Painful

First of all, for the ones that have read my husbands post about my kidney stones and prayed for me, I would like to Thank You, all is well now.

On Tuesday I woke up and it was a normal day, and quickly went down hill from there. It was just one of them mornings, school was not going, the house was a disaster, and the kids were wound for sound. So I decided to lay the younger children down for a nap a little earlier than normal so I could get a break. After the children were down, I sat down to feed Deacon and felt a little pain in my side, but nothing to think twice about. After Deacon was done I put him in his swing and told Gage and Chloe I was going to relax in the recliner for a while. Within 15 min I probably went to the restroom 3 or 4 times. Gage kept asking me if I was ok. Within 30 min I was in so much pain that I had called Andrew home, and my Mom to see if she could come get the kids. I had contacted my midwife, being she is the only one I knew to call that would have any knowledge of what it might be. She thought the same thing we thought, my appendix. Anyhow, Andrew came right home, the last thing that I remember was, Gage crying scared for me, and Chloe saying don't worry mommy God will be with you, and off to the ER we went, and we got there fast. As most of you know it ended up being a kidney stone, thankfully. I was in no mood to have surgery.

Anyhow, at 8pm we got home and I went right to bed, I got up one time to feed Deacon ate some fruit and went right back to bed. At 11:oo I got up went to the restroom and thankfully passed the stone.

It is unbeilevable that something so small can be so painful. I had kidney stones one other time 6 years ago, but the pain was in a different spot, so I think that is why it threw me for a loop.

Anyhow, I am up and moving and doing great, Thank You again for all of your prayers.
