A lot has happened....

I would like to start off with saying Thank You for praying for our youngest son Deacon. He is doing much better now, he is still coughing but sounds a lot better.

I would like ask if you all would pray for Andrews Nanny, she has been in the hospital for a little while now with a few problems, and has recently found out that she has shingles. She will hopefully be discharged from the hospital and will be placed in the nursing home for a short while. Please pray that she will get strong fast.

A lot has happened within the past couple weeks. Andrews brother flew in from Washington state to be with their Nanny. So we have been visiting with him off and on the last few days.

Andrew has been working hard and working doubles. So the time as a family has been cherished around the Stroupe home.

My birthday was on the 13th, valentines was on the 14th, and our anniversary was on the 15th, and Andrew just happened to have a 3 day weekend so what does he do....

Yep you got it right, he kidnapped me and took me up to the the Quad Cities and had ourselves a little getaway. I will have to tell you, he did a wonderful job.

As some of you already know, Andrew and I are big coffee drinkers, and this was a really cool coffee shop right across the street from our hotel.

Of course we have been trying to keep up with school work, but with Andrews Nanny, company, and Deacon being sick it has been a struggle.

Another picture of Chloe doing some school work.

And this is us just being the silly Stroupes and playing with our food.

Hey Jamie!
You really had your hands full lately. I think your blog and facebook really are turning out to be a blessing to keep our lives connected. Jasmine enjoys looking at pictures of her cousins, and so do I. DJ peeks in now and then as well. I want to give you and Andrew a little feedback as far as my old reiki stuff goes. As my cousin and dad were in the hospital, several family members asked me to send them reiki for their healing. I told them that I don't do reiki anymore, but I will be happy to pray for them. I prayed with my mom on the phone for my dads speedy recovery from his broken bones ( he has 8 screws in to keep it together) I told my mom not to sway away from God and the importance of prayer. Anyway, my dad got out of the hospital much quicker than we thought and my cousin is doing better as well. I am glad that I could offer a prayer for them and set a godly example this time and you two deserve thanks too. Feel free to share that with Andrew ;o)
P.S. I admire your blogging perseverance!
